Obtaining an Oregon Marriage License
To obtain a marriage license, each applicant must be at least eighteen (18) years of age (or 17 years old with parent or legal guardian's consent). Each couple must appear in person.
There is a three (3) day waiting period before a license may be used and it is valid for sixty (60) days after the effective date. THE LICENSE IS VALID ONLY IN THE STATE OF OREGON.
There are no blood tests required.
The cost for the license is $60.00, payable by cash or check.
Note: Couples must have 2 witnesses 18 years or older attend the ceremony and who will be listed on the marriage certificate.
